1st April - Indoor Offroad Points  29/03/17 01:46PM (233)
Well Indoor offroad and outdoor Onroad look pretty healthy in the Tron!!! If the last two meetings are anything to go by we are in for a wicked night on the 1st. Please Pre-reg ASAP at http://www.hrccc.co.nz
Doors open at 12 (Midday) Those who turn up between 12 and 12.15 and assist with setup will be rewarded with the first 25 minutes of practise. The quicker we get the track setup the longer practise will be. :)
Packup went well last time only because out of the 12 who packed up 8 were new people to racing, experienced and seasoned members are letting themselves and the club down. We packed up in 30 minutes so imagine if everyone had stayed to packup. It is getting to the point now where every second month we have a whinge and then the following event everyone gets stuck in and helps. If we just assume that if you want to race you should packup then this would not be an issue. The club is in a position where we are unsure on how we could motivate people to actually support their own club which they benefit from by spending 20 minutes packing up. This is not an HRCCC only issue it is a club issue in a range of sports/disciplines, I would expect those living in the waikato who race would stay to pack up 9/10 times, there will always be a reason very rarely you cannot but not everytime. Lets support those who regularly packup by getting stuck in and helping as well, lets get it done quickly and efficiently. Registration closes at 2.30 Sharp!!!
Racing will start at 3.05pm, if the track is setup by 1pm that should leave us 2 hours for practise!!! Just remember with no onroad before offroad setup and packup is required by everyone who races, more hands make light work. Also - Covered shoes are required if you want to race!! Also pre-reg is not optional please ensure it is accurate and done by Thursday night. Onwards and upwards.
2017 1st Onroad Points Meeting  13/02/17 08:23PM (232)
18th February - Waikato Table tennis centre Here we go new format for the onroad lads, it is important we get behind this and support it. If we can get onroad nice and solid it can only mean good things for our club, we have the addition of Drift and TT-02. We still have allcomers for those offroad lads looking to get track mileage, who knows we could have it run for points if we have enough entries. Drift will run an open track for 10 minutes at the completion of rounds 1 and 2, so 20 minutes of drifting mayhem :) TT-2 rules were posted earlier, we are copying Auckland but do not have a control tyre as yet, I would recommend Schumacher pins and/or rally blocks to start with. See Frankton Model Shop or Hobby Hangar for a great deal on one of these (Believe you can get one for about $200.00 If we can get Juniors pumping as well would be awesome, next generation racers is what it is all about for our hobby/sport. So......doors will open at 12, once track is laid practise will begin. Racing will commence at 3pm so looking to be finished by 8 dependent on numbers. Pre reg at http://www.hrccc.co.nz now so we can get you into the system.

Micro is still really struggling for numbers, we need people to start supporting this class or the committee will be forced to look at its future as a class. Things to remember is this class is very cost effective. Contact your local Hobby shop or ask a racer on the day about options for this awesome and exciting class.
